Specifics: This feat allows effective use of the heavy crossbow.
Normal: A character who uses a weapon with which he or she is not proficient takes a -4 penalty on attack rolls with that weapon.
Use: Automatic with weapon proficiency in simple weapons, or granted as a bonus.
