Disguise

Ability: Charisma.
Requires Training: No.

Disguise represents a character's ability to alter their appearance, mannerisms, and voice in order to appear as someone else. Through the use of clothing, cosmetics, posture, and behavior, a skilled character can convincingly adopt a false identity. A successful disguise does more than change appearance, it creates a believable persona that can withstand casual observation and social interaction.

Uses:
- Assume Disguise: The character may attempt a Disguise check to alter their appearance and present themselves as another individual, profession, or social role.
- Opposed Checks: A disguise may be challenged by observers attempting to detect the deception. This is typically opposed by Disguise, Perception or Sense Motive checks.
- Maintain Persona: Prolonged interaction or close scrutiny may grant observers additional opportunities to challenge the disguise.

Special: Attempting to disguise oneself as a specific individual may impose additional difficulty depending on the observer's familiarity with the person.

Synergy: Characters with 5 or more ranks in Influence or Perform gain a +2 bonus on Disguise checks.
