====== Disguise ====== **Ability:** Charisma.\\ **Requires Training:** No.\\ \\ Disguise represents a character's ability to alter their appearance, mannerisms, and voice in order to appear as someone else. Through the use of clothing, cosmetics, posture, and behavior, a skilled character can convincingly adopt a false identity. A successful disguise does more than change appearance, it creates a believable persona that can withstand casual observation and social interaction.\\ \\ **Uses:**\\ **- Assume Disguise:** The character may attempt a Disguise check to alter their appearance and present themselves as another individual, profession, or social role.\\ **- Opposed Checks:** A disguise may be challenged by observers attempting to detect the deception. This is typically opposed by Disguise, Perception or Sense Motive checks.\\ **- Maintain Persona:** Prolonged interaction or close scrutiny may grant observers additional opportunities to challenge the disguise.\\ \\ **Special:** Attempting to disguise oneself as a specific individual may impose additional difficulty depending on the observer's familiarity with the person.\\ \\ **Synergy:** Characters with 5 or more ranks in Influence or Perform gain a +2 bonus on Disguise checks.
