====== Acolyte ====== Acolytes are devoted servants of a temple, shrine, or religious order. Though not yet fully initiated into the mysteries of their faith, they assist priests with rituals, tend sacred places, and provide guidance to the faithful. Many acolytes possess basic religious training and practical knowledge of healing and doctrine. While some eventually rise to become full clerics, others remain lifelong servants of their temples, dedicated to maintaining the spiritual life of their communities.\\ **WARNING:** Acolyte is considered a non-adventuring class. Characters who begin their service as Acolytes gain reduced experience from creature kills and adventuring writs, reflecting their duties within temples and religious orders rather than a life spent seeking danger and glory. Choosing Acolyte as your starting class will also limit your multiclassing options later in your career.\\ **SPELLCASTING:** To cast a spell, an adept must have a Wisdom score of 10 + the spell's level. For example, to cast a 2nd-level spell, an adept must have a Wisdom of 12.\\ * Hit Die: d6 (6 per level). * Proficiencies: All simple weapons, light armor, and small and large shields. * Skill Points (Int Modifier * 4 at 1st level): 4 + Int Modifier. * Class Skills: Animal Handling (Cha), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Influence (Cha), Heal (Wis), Knowledge (nature) (Int), Knowledge (nobility) (Int), Knowledge (religion) (Int), Knowledge (the planes) (Int), Linguistics (Int), Perception (Wis), Perform (Cha), Sense Motive (Wis), Scriptcraft (Int), and Spellcraft (Int). * Saves: High will. * Base Attack Bonus: +1/2 * Spellcasting: Divine (Wisdom-based, spell failure from armor is ignored).
